i'm always pleased with ACI north. Today, i required a bit more assistance. line guys assisted me lift off my cowling. i was the most vital person on the ramp to them. they found the man Jay to help with a lighting issue, and the front office personnel couldn't have been more accommodating. Nathan, the GM, was very responsive. aCI north is my home away from home, and i always feel looked after here, even in my little bird burning 100LL.

I landed there and I politely inquired if I owed anything as I know ACI has a 3 hours free policy and the girl at the desk confirmed so, when her manager sitting behind her hears us and suddenly now there is a "pop up" charge of $95. I was there for literally 12 minutes.

Charged $50 ramp fee daily for parking a single.

48 PPR for ACI North and South There is a NOTAM published effective 8/13/2025 to 2/28/26

LOOK OUT: Their ramp is under building and they're running a PPR (Prior Permission Required) process for arrival/departure. BUT...no details on this on their website, or a NOTAM. Desk staff will give you a blank look and say you can't depart "we're on the PPR program" like you should've known ahead of time. ACI North is fine, and location superb, but the absence of details about the ramp caught us off guard in the last journey. Staff said building may be going on for up to a year.

Really helpful. Flew in to visit a friend in Orange County. They let me borrow the courtesy car and even extended the time so that I could get lunch. Waived ramp fee as I took on sufficient fuel. Will go back if I have to land at SNA
