We stopped in on a Sunday for Breakfast. Sam Blue had a car available for us. We had a fine breakfast at the Red Wing Cafe then Filled the car with gas. Thanks again for your assistance. John M.

Good FBO. Arlen was very friendly and assisted me with a courtesy car. He showed me that the vehicles have guides of the local eateries, both in Wisconsin and Minnesota. I visited the bakery in Redwing which was fine. Before leaving I filled up with Avgas from a clean and modern pump, and the price was about $2 less per gallon than at my home airport in the Twin Cities.

A good spot to stop. Personnel was very helpful and even stayed late when we had ELT problems. Suggest coming here!

Airport does not regularly update fuel costs, so the price can sometimes be much greater. Otherwise fine airport and fbo

Not sure why fuel is so costly for being fairly far away from anything (over a dollar more than some other small airports this far from Minneapolis) but a fine stop nonetheless! Quiet, nice FBO. Simple in and out if you’re in a hurry. If you’re not, 2 fine courtesy cars that both say “Red wing airport courtesy car” on the side. I think both Chevy Impalas. Very scenic little airport on the bluffs on the MN/WI border. There was no one there on a Saturday afternoon when I came thru. I’d stop again. Just don’t expect inexpensive fuel!

Fuel costs a bit higher than other close airports but the warm welcome and pair of courtesy vehicles more than made up for that. Check out the Pie Plate Cafe for lunch and signature pie. Take time for a walk in Memorial Park located on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi, city, and surrounding area.
