Awesome experience! Ben the FBO manager was accommodating and goes the extra mile.

Phone was out of service but I called the city govt and the airport called me back. Price was as advertised $5.40 for 100LL. East in and out with extra tidy facilities.

This is a superb destination, an hour from Houston by Kitfox. This is as spotless and well-kept an FBO as i’ve ever discovered. Seven minutes by crew car takes you to the Stark Museum of Western Art is good (and free). The local fare is diverse and quite good - do not overlook the Old Orange Cafe. It’s tiny but the food is top notch.

Stopped here for gas. Good rates and fine FBO. Has tables outside and a shower with towels if you need. Good stop on long XC.

Stopped here for a quick fuel stop because of the fuel costs. Called ahead while in the air and the line person was already sitting in the fuel truck as we had pulled up, and drove it over to our plane. Overall, one of the fastest turnarounds I’ve ever had. The FBO is fine and has refrigerated sodas and some snacks available. Very pleased we decided to stop here.
