Mineral Point is now an AirVenture tradition for us! First time two years ago was superb, and we stopped both directions this year because the people here are so fine. We'll be back next year!

I was met at the (newer, fine cost) fuel pump by the airport supervisor. Parking was simple. It was a 10 minute delay for the single retired police SUV to return from town. I ran my task and also had a brief meal at Cafe 43 (suggested). This was mid-week around noon and I observed a Champ in the pattern and a Warrior, 172 and turboprop single come and go while I was present. I got the feeling that they are attempting to make this airport function well for pilots.

Stopped by on my Labor Day vacation trip. Fine self serve fuel setup. I stopped after hours so I didn't see any personnel. But the facilities are adequate. I will stop by again sometime. 2776E

Stopped in early on the way to Oshkosh, Taylor met us at the plane and assisted with the fueling. Almost felt bad just doing a gas-n-go as they were set up with food and snacks for travelers. Wonderful stop, and postcard rolling farmland all around. We shall return!

Good stop for fuel. Used crew car to get lunch.

Absolutely amazing service. Pulled up for Oshkosh and Taylor met us at the plane with a fuel hose and a smile. She let us use the crew car to go grab some lunch and the facilities were fine. I will be back soon!
