Signature Aviation KMCI Pilot Reviews

March 24, 2024Was a bit worried with some of the bad reviews, but we had a really good experience here. Weather was quite severe, moderate icing on arrival/approach, and everyone on the ground and landing had ice accumulation. The Signature team was very occupied but assisted us promptly and got us back in the air right away. We were in a tiny Vision Jet and were still provided fine service. Fuel is expensive, but it's a busy bravo and we understood it beforehand.

November 3, 2023THEY DO NOT HAVE GOVERNMENT CONTRACT FUEL. But if you call and ask them, they will tell you that they do. They do not. Ask them if they accept the air card or actually have a contract ... it's the former. There is no contract for pricing.

April 12, 2023Just made a stop at Signature MCI. I’ve been going there for many years now. We all know Signature is among the most costly FBO’s but this is getting out of control. 15 minutes on the ramp and paid over $500 for a King air. The only interaction I had with staff there was a line guy chocked the plane and the woman behind the counter took our money…other than that no one assisted carry our passengers bags to the plane and no one even came to remove the chocks from the wheels. I’m just wondering what the $500 is for.

February 18, 2023I had a good experience at Signature @ KMCI. I recently had to overnight there with my Cirrus. While it was evident that they didn’t service too many single engine piston aircraft at KMCI or pump much Avgas, they were still very helpful and accommodating. Overnight temps were anticipated to be cold and they didn’t have any hangar space available. So they strung extension cords across the ramp so that I could plug in my Tanis heater and keep the engine warm overnight for an early morning departure. Thanks to Juan and the whole line team for assisting out and making me feel very welcome.
