One of the most helpful and cordial FBOs i have come across. Surprisingly it was not at all busy, MidCoast is one of aviation's finest hidden gems.

Stopped for fuel on way north. Military airspace is all around so make certain you are speaking with SAV approach. Self serve is quite simple and reasonable. Used courtesy car for a quick lunch run. Everyone was very helpful and LHW was low key. Thanks for fine service.

We were on our way from Tampa to Maine when my wife took ill. I was going to land at KSAV, when ATC suggested MidCoast. I could not have chosen a superior location to stop. The crew there are absolutely fantastic. They gassed and parked the plane, made arrangements at the local LaQuinta Inn, got us a discount at the motel with early check-in at no extra cost, gave us a ride to the motel and picked us up the next morning to continue our trip. I can't thank them enough for all their assistance.

Good spot for AvGas and for folks who enjoy interesting small airports to visit. Everyone on the line at the FBO, to the control tower is very professional.

All previous comments are accurate. Cordial and useful, good facility, crew lounge w quiet room and shower if you require. I was weathered in on my route to Florida. Gave me a ride to a lodging.

Good airport to stop for inexpensive fuel and tidy facilities. Hidden gem as others have mentioned.
