Ohio County Airport KJQD Pilot Reviews

August 7, 2025Always a stop for me when in the area, good fuel cost and welcoming people. Low ceiling kept me from stopping in on the way North, but I popped in on my return flight 3 weeks later and was welcomed by David at the pump. Clean amenities and a fine place to rest up and fuel up. I'll be back!

May 17, 2025Acceptable FBO, wonderful snacks as previously noted. Fine runway and taxiway, plus inexpensive SS fuel.

June 9, 2024What a good FBO. We flew in and they have an honor system for sodas and other items . Fuel was fine price. Runway and tarmac in fine shape.

June 13, 2023I’m back, similar to how I said I’d be next time thru:) pilot lounge is a welcome break from the haze on my way to Oshkosh. What every general aviation airport ought to aim to be. I’ll be back again, it’s a treasure!

October 9, 2022Friendly people and a fair cost for fuel. Fine pilot lounge well-stocked snacks and drinks. I’ll return when in the region.

July 27, 2022I stopped at Ohio County on a long, late night flight from Florida to Chicago, not anticipating to find much except the inexpensive fuel that was advertised. The cost was accurate, which is always valued and might be due to the airport personnel being watchful about keeping the price current on ForeFlight. I was also very happy to discover one of the finest honor-system snack bars in recent memory! I put a $5 bill in the container and enjoyed a bounty of water, chips, and Oreos. Just what I required for the final leg home. Popcorn was also offered. Good stop for fuel for both person and machine! Thanks!
