Flew in to Sterling this morning and was greeted with the rental car on the ramp. All the personnel was exceptional especially Tiffany! If you are flying thru the area I would put Sterling at the top of the listing for a fuel stop!

Flew into Sterling last month on an Angle Flight, topped off with fuel and was charged $75 for a handling fee. Quite absurd

Good FBO, simple access right off 18. Personnel is very welcoming, helpful and fine plus the best fuel cost on the field. Facilities are very fine too.

Called ahead yesterday to park our twin overnight. Published hours have Sterling closed at 10pm, with after hours handling for a fee. We were very late ( pop up IFR, sequenced) and rightfully deserving on the cost hit. The FBO manager herself stayed way late (on a Friday) and waived the fee - just because we buy fuel there occasionally. But of course we do. Sterling is the cheapest big runway, big lights fuel stop in south Texas. Plus, fine coffee. Just sayn.
