They lack the facilities apart from ice and WiFi

Flew up from Zanesville for lunch. Summit folks were good from start to finish. Accurate details when I called ahead. Fine facilities, welcoming and useful personnel despite being busy.

Stopped at AKR for a fuel stop on our way to OSH 22. Quick service, fine staff and we were able to use the crew car to grab a fast lunch before departing. I would surely recommend Summit.

Very helpful lineman (Derrick) on arrival and when departing. Team was very accommodating and pleasant, and the facility is clean. With 20 gal of avgas at a reasonable price, no fees charged for tying down <24 hours with our RV. I’ll gladly return!

Summit impressed us with their handling of our requirement for a short notice overnight stay. They tied down the Arrow for us and waived the overnight fee with fuel purchase. We will certainly be back! Fuel prices were fair, and we enjoyed talking with the staff. Highly recommend this FBO and airport for the high quality service and facilities (newly refurbished runway 7 / 25).
